All things are created new

So who is this Catholic missionary girl? Have you heard much about her life? Do you know where her heart is? The answer in the past has been a flat no. I've been running around for a few months after no longer being a vegetarian thinking of a new name and how to incorporate me more into this blog. So after a lot of brainstorming the name came to me: Fit for a king

What does fit for a king mean?
Have you ever heard the expression food fit for a king? Well that's where it comes from. I wanted a blog name that would express natural, healthy, heart happy meals and life. So it's a play on words to express food and a happy life that should be royal. Why? Because you were made to be royal. That may sound like a bad advertisement but what I'm trying to get at is that you are made for greatness and happiness.

"If you are what you were made to be you'll set the world on fire" -St Catherine of Siena

So you're probably wondering ok this girl is catholic so are we going to hear about the faith more? The answer is yes. Not in ways where I write posts about Catholicism in it's entirety but by some of my quotes, my lifestyle choices, etc you will see Catholicism. Am I trying to hide it? Absolutely not Do I need to write entire posts about it and explain everything in detail to you? No because it's an expression of my heart, it makes me happy and it's imbedded in who I am but it doesn't have to be in your face. You'll know by who I am, by my words, and actions but not by long theological blog posts.

What you'll see on the blog
Posts about food some good for you & some just good for your soul- still the same old me in that way!
Posts about natural, simple and affordable living (cleaners and products that don't break the budget or your skin)
Posts about my life- still mainly in the realm of food but also a bit of lifestyle, encouragement, and optimism in a real way

Let's just put this out there- I'm never going to be a fake plastic blogger who's life is perfect or whose photos are. I like things to look as they are and that's what I'll be bringing you: true, natural beauty in all things.

"I am the daughter of a King who is not moved by the world for my God is with me & goes before me. I do not fear because I am His."
