Rainbow salad


I've been doing a detox this week to get my body back on track after three weeks of travel. So salads, lean meats, and fresh fruits without packaged foods have been my go to foods and snacks this week. My body has been craving sugar and crunchy salty foods but Ive been curbing them with healthy options and drinking a lot of water. I keep myself in check by knowing in the end I'll feel so much better at be able to tackle all of what the day brings me. 

This salad is quick, filling and a great partial meal (add some more protein to make it a full meal) that I thought you all would enjoy. 

Rainbow salad 

What you'll need: 
1 cup chopped romaine 
1 cup cucumbers cut in fourths
1 tbsp black bean dip
1/4 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp banana peppers
1/8 c chickpeas 
2 slices of tomato
2 slices avocado
1/4 c green bell pepper
1 tbsp mandarin orange ginger dressing

 Method:
Mix together in bowl and enjoy!
